COPYNES
13 NOVEMBER 2005 - 21:35 CET
Kevin Horton has been working on another batch of copyNES boards and he's now, finally, ready to take orders. A "do it yourself" copynes kit is no more than US$45 + shipping, while an installation by Kevin will set you back US$125, but then you're guaranteed that your unit will work. Please note that you'll have to supply the NES yourself.

For more information about the copynes, click here. Mail address to contact, for ordering, can be found here.

ALADDIN DECK ENHANCER
12 NOVEMBER 2005 - 14:00 CET
I've made a complete rewrite of my 8 years old Aladdin Deck Enhancer page. Hopefully it's a lot more informative today :-)

THE FUNKY NES FLASH CART
11 NOVEMBER 2005 - 23:10 CET
Here I am again with a bit of news. For those of you who still haven't heard about this project, I present you with... the NES Funky Flash Cart!

I've been dreaming of a NES flash cart like this for years, and Finnish Arto Hatanpaa could make this dream come true. Sofar MMC2, MMC3 and standard non-mapper game types are supported. The cartridge will feature USB hookup to a PC and Arto has uploaded a picture of the latest hardware to his website today, the one you see on the right is no longer the current layout.

For more details and pictures, check out his website here http://ameba.lpt.fi/~hataarto/nes/ and give the guy some moral support to complete this impressive project of his.

CRAVE ENTERTAINMENT IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF WISDOM TREE?
2 NOVEMBER 2005 - 23:05 CET
What on earth are they thinking? Will we see a lawsuit from Wisdom Tree, with the help of god, sueing Crave for stealing their idea?

Anyway Crave Entertainment is about to release "The Bible Game" for Gameboy Advance, PS2 and Xbox, here's a part of the press release from earlier this year:

The Bible Game for Game Boy Advance combines action/adventure play style with trivia challenges. In their quest to protect the Armor of God, players may choose to play as either Billy or Jenny across seven levels including forest, snowy tundra, desert, and tropical island environments. Along the way they must answer questions from both the Old and New Testaments. Either the New International Version or King James translation may be selected, and three levels of difficulty keep the game accessible for all ages. Scheduled for release in October 2005, The Bible Game will be available for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and GameBoy® Advance handheld system for a MSRP of $19.99.

To be honest I actually thought they had teamed up with our very own Wisdom Tree publisher for the release of these games, but it doesn't seem to be the case. I could be wrong, but is there a market for this sort of crap? Right now I'm pretty speechless, so head on over here for more information.
