What seems like yesterday, but it was way back in the 1990's, someone who called himself Voodoo sent me a message through ICQ, a IM that died thanks to the massive spam, though I think it still exists
but I don't know of anyone who is using it. Anyway, he told told me that he was a big fan of the Famicom Disk system, just like me. But unfortunately for him it was near impossible to find any FDS stuff
in Brazil, which kinda makes sense though, doesn't it?
What he had seen was a crapload of Famicom/NES pirate stuff and later I received a zip file with some pictures from one of his favourite markets to find pirate stuff at. He told me that I was more than
welcome to put the pictures on my website, so here they are.
But first a few words from Voodoo
This place is called here as "CAMELÓDROMO", our city is called "SANTA MARIA", located on
"Rio Grande do Sul", south of Brazil. There is a lot of things to buy, not only games...
Umbrellas, clocks, music CDs, gadgets a lot!
They are mini shops, like hot dog sellers, inside his little boxes, can you understand?
My english is not sooooo good to tell some stuff.
And now... the pictures

Entrance to the market.

Row after row... Goodie after goodie...

Super 98 Mario Bros 3, prolly some hack.

Double Dragon 3 or Lost Vikings?

Now this is interesting!! Did they port the
N64 Goldeneye game?! hah prolly not ;)

Super Ninja 3, could be Ninja Gaiden 3.

Tecmo Basketball?

Aaaaah! Just like I remember it from Turkey. The only problem when standing infront
of a table like this one is, what the hell to buy, heh, you want it all!!

The Mega+ Power 2, check my page about it here, a quite good clone.

Another picture of the Mega+ Power 2

A clone also known as the Mastergame MK-X

I bought a pirate cart called Road Rash 98 once which actually was Mach Rider, bah!

Contra 6, Super Contra?

(starts drooling again) WILL YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THAT!

PolyStation, probably the most known Famicom clone which is shaped as a PlayStation. I wonder
if anyone has bought one of these thinking it was a cheap Playstation and then getting
really surprised when finding a cartridge slot under the lid instead of a CD drive :)

Hmmm a Color Dreams cartridge which has made it all the way to Brazil, nice.

Another Mega+ Power 2 picture.

The joypad which comes with the Mega+ Power 2.

What you get...

Say hello to Voodoo :)
