BILL HINDORFF
TENGEN PROGRAMMER
Welcome to another interview with a former NES programmer, this time it's no other than Bill Hindorff. Say who? you might say? Well Bill worked at Tengen and coded Super Sprint as well as being producer on most other Tengen NES releases. When I spoke with Bill he was working for the 3DO company and had previously been "VP of product Development" at Midway, a job he unfortunately had to leave.

FRANZ LANZINGER
KRAZY KREATURES AND TENGEN (ATARI) FAME
Another day, another NES WORLD interview. This time it's Franz Lanzinger, a former Tengen programmer who later created Bitmasters along with Dave O'Riva who also used to work for Tengen. Their first project at Bitmasters was a NES game called Krazy Kreatures which they sold to American Video Entertainment. A few more games followed but this time they were picked up by licensed companies.

IAN BELL
ELITE FAME ... ALSO REVEALS THE NES TANK DEMO
A lille chat about the game Elite as well as another NES game Ian Bell has in the worked, unfortunately it was released. The interview should've included a little bit about the Brabel and Bell team break up, but there's clearly a lot of things still going on between the two of them regarding copyrights and such, it's a mess to be honest, so I decided to keep that discussion to a minimum.

JON VALESH
COLOR DREAMS FAME
A chat about Hellraiser, which Valesh worked on, then a little bit about the Color Dreams development kit and many other neat things. Definately worth reading, if I may say so.

MICHAEL CRICK
DUDES WITH ATTITUDE, COMPU TRAINER, TAITO RELEASE OF INDIANA JONES
Here's a small interview with Michael Crick who wrote two games for American Video Entertainment, Dudes with Attitude and the sequel to that game, Trolls on Treasure Island. Since then he hasn't been involved in anything regarding video games, but who knows we may see a PC version of Dudes with Attitude sometime? :)

NINA STANLEY
COLOR DREAMS GIRL DRAWING UP GRAPHICS FAME, WOOT!
Nina Stanley, the woman responsible for a lot of the Color Dreams game graphics made. I had been searching for quite some time before I finally was able to track down Nina. To my surprise her name appeared in the game credits for the 3DO release of Battletanx, so I of course contacted 3DO and was lucky enough to get her email address, and this interview came to life.

RICHARD FRICK
FOUNDER OF AMERICAN VIDEO ENTERTAINMENT
This guy has been working quite a few places in the entertainment business. Before founding American Video Entertainment Richard Frick was working for Atari, after American Video Entertainment folded around 1994 he went to work for Equilibrium and from there he more or less left the video game business. This is probably the most interesting interview at least for me as a fan of unlicensed NES game companies. Richard Frick also tells us a little bit about American Game Carts Inc.

STEVE HUGHES
SOLAR JETMAN PROGRAMMER, A GAME WELL WORTH A TRY
A long time ago I had a small chat with Steve Hughes about an old NES classic from Rare called Solar Jetman. It was sort of a hit in Europe but never really caught the attention of US gamers. I've later discovered that Steve actually worked for Zippo Games and they were subcontracted from Rare to make the game.

VANCE KOZIK
COLOR DREAMS, MENACE BEACH AND WISDOM TREE
The first NES WORLD interview ever made. Vance Kozik was a game programmer at the unlicensed NES game outlet (company) Color Dreams programmer and the inventor of my all time favourite Color Dreams game, as well as being the first unlicensed NES game I ever got. Later on he worked on Wisdom Tree's Zelda clone called Spiritual Warfare before leaving the company along with founder Dan Lawton to form another company called StarDot, creating professional webcam equipment.
